While The Common Application is often utilized when applying to college, some require applicants to submit specific applications that are available on the college or university website. When that is the case, please utilize the below college application checklist and tips on how to begin the application process to ensure you are progressing most easily and effectively. It is important to note that in addition to the application, many college may require additional information or documents (i.e. letters of recommendation, resume, essays, work samples). Be sure to research the application requirements at the college or university of your choice to further support your chance of being accepted.
*Please keep in mind that while you may not be accepted to every college or university you apply to, each application process is a learning opportunity and not being accepted is not a reflection of your value or worth as a person. If you or one of your classmates is struggling with mental health concerns resulting from the college application or associated process, please contact the counseling department directly.
